Our Dark Horse Sauvignon Blanc is a bright, New Zealand-style wine from the sun-drenched vineyards of California. Opening with aromas of lime flower and lemon zest, this wine is refreshing on the palate. Notes of juicy grapefruit follow, refreshing the palate. The citrus layer is underscored by accents of green apple with a touch of jalapeño on the finish.
Details
The grapes for our 2022 Sauvignon Blanc were harvested at optimal ripeness. Our winemaker fermented the wine at low to moderate temperatures between 55⁰ and 62⁰F, carefully selecting aromatic yeast to create intense aromas. After fermentation, all lots were aged in stainless steel tanks until bottling to preserve their brightness and balance.
