This lively Pét-Nat comes from 12 tons of Cinsault hand-harvested from a block on a tiny organic farm in the heart of the Swartland. Lined by conifers for wind protection and bursting with life from its rocky soil, it’s a vibrant place. The equally vibrant ‘Rainboat’—sketched by one Cape Town’s best urban artists, Chris Auret—adorns the bottle’s front, a fitting sign of the rocket juice inside. Funky label from a funky artist for a funky wine from a funky vineyard, all full of personality.
Strawberry, pink apple, cider, candy floss, and dry grain on the nose give way to a flavor experience that can only be understood fully when experienced. Strawberry, cranberry, lemon drop, buchu leaf, and pomegranate notes come across the palate alongside a sweet & sour experience more befitting to kombucha than wine.
Fermented using native yeasts, unfined, unfiltered, and bottled without added sulphur. Low in alcohol and high in energy.
