Our Dark Horse Red Blend is anything but ordinary. As its name suggests, this blend offers big, bold fruit aromas and flavors. Aromas of jammy dark fruit and toasted oak lead seamlessly into a rich mouthfeel with notes of raspberry and brown spice.
Details
The grapes used for our Red Blend were selected from distinct vineyards throughout California, adding extra layers of complexity and fruit character. Fermentation occurred at warm temperatures between 88°F and 92°F with hand-chosen yeast. After fermentation was complete, the wine was aged using a touch of French and American oak to impart toasted and brown spice characteristics.
