Founded in 1999 by a family of jewelers, Ritani has been making it simpler to purchase high-quality, handcrafted jewelry ever since. Each piece is one-of-a-kind and made to order in New York by expert artisans. Ritani knows diamonds. You know you. Founding Story

Diamonds have been in Joel's family for as long as he can remember. Joel grew up in a family business that has become one of the largest diamond wholesalers in the world. So you can say, he grew up amongst diamonds.

Joel watched his friends getting engaged and asking all of these questions about diamonds. Over the past decade, online shopping has become more and more popular. The diamond industry has been known to be antiquated, and diamond buying can become incredibly confusing. Watching people he cared about going through this process was eye-opening, so he started Ritani.com to help folks just like them. Transparency will always be at the helm of the company's evolution - from transparent pricing tools to best value badges.
