Vital Nutrient Boost is essentially corn steep powder, an up-cycled waste stream byproduct of non-GMO corn ethanol production. Derived from the water that is used in the initial stage of the corn wet milling process, it is entirely clean and plant-based.
Corn steep powder is an excellent replacement for other organic fertilizers such as fish emulsion, chicken litter, soybean meal, or feather meal. Unlike most organic fertilizers, nitrogen in this product is readily available to the plant and not dependent on microbial activity for digestion and release.
Each jar is good for 40 uses, and each shaker can support 1 garden bed for 1 season. Each use covers 1-2 large plants or 3-5 small to medium sized plants.
Dissolve 1 scoop (20cc) per gallon of water and drench roots of plants or use as foliar spray. Or shake Vital Nutrient Boost over soil and water in. Can also be added to soil mix for added nutrients. Repeat 1-2 times per month. Store in sealed container in a cool, dry place.
For tomatoes, fertilize when the first fruit begins to develop and when the first fruit is harvested. Continue application 1-2 times per month until the growing season ends.
