Prolacta Bioscience, a privately held, global life sciences company dedicated to Advancing the Science of Human Milk®, is taking an active step towards reducing its carbon footprint with a tree planting campaign in honor of the 90,000 premature infants they’ve served globally.

In partnership with One Tree Planted, a non-profit organization that helps plant trees around the world, Prolacta has planted nearly 90,000 trees across diverse locations. For every premature infant Prolacta serves with its human milk nutritional products, one tree will be planted.

And Prolacta is taking it a step further. It is making great strides to reduce its carbon footprint as an organization. By looking for ways to reduce their energy consumption and using renewable sources of energy, Prolacta is embracing an eco-friendly philosophy.
