Lisa Pollack is Corto’s Education Ambassador. She leads opportunities to taste and experience fresh olive oil with both professional and home chefs. Lisa has visited olive oil producers all over the world, from New Zealand to Japan, and she found her way to the California industry in 2013. Her background comes from the California Olive Oil Council where she oversaw the organization’s commitment to quality and standards with the sensory taste panel, while also working as an advocate for California producers among discerning chefs, retailers and consumers. When she decided to step away from the COOC, she was elated to join Corto in furthering their education initiatives and sharing the exciting innovations that position them as a leader worldwide. In addition to her experience overseeing the COOC taste panel, Lisa is certified by the National Association of Olive Oil Tasters (ONAOO) based in Imperia, Italy.

Coming from the world of Advertising having worked on some of the most iconic brands of all time such as Nike, Coca-Cola and more, Lisa desired to take that some lens of great branding and apply it to the new world of beauty e-commerce back in 2004. As an early pioneer in e-commerce her focus was to shine a light on new, undiscovered brands. This was at a time where large retailers like Sephora mostly retailed only large department store beauty brands.After 19 years proudly stocking some of the most sought after beauty brands in the world, she sold her business and went on to spending the next two years creating Zen Dew.

As Director of Sales, Lisa now leads the company’s B2B Business Development efforts, where her strategic vision has significantly impacted Love That Door’s growth. Over the past two years, she has successfully built and nurtured a book of business that includes partnerships with top-tier production builders, resellers, and developers, contributing to over 30% of the company’s annual sales revenue. Her ability to forge lasting relationships and consistently exceed expectations has cemented her as an influential leader within the company and the industry. Lisa Sheppard is a marketer, cook, WSET Level 2 wine-certified blogger and most importantly - a cat mom! Her background includes over 20 years of marketing for world-class brands. After her mom died, she became a caregiver to her father with dementia. It was through that experience that she understood how much joy animals bring to people who are sick and to those who look after them. Caregiving is stressful - and she could write a book on that experience. Her bond with her kitties grew very deep during the time she took care of her dad. When the cats would do something goofy, just that one smile that she gained would change her mood and improve her day. It was through that experience that the idea was born to bring joy to everyone, with a colorful, bright, cat-inspired brand. She created Comfort Diva, using her art skills along with modern technology, to bring happiness and color to your life. Most of the items are for the cat lover, but some are for the wine lover, or simply whimsical in design. It was important to her that the brand supported cat adoptions. In 2025, 10% of all sales in February sales were donated to the Pasadena Humane Society to help animals that were rescued from the Los Angeles fires. Although Lisa founded Comfort Diva in Texas where she now lives, she lived in Los Angeles for over 30 years and once lived in the Pacific Palisades. The devastation of the fires touched her deeply because of friends and colleagues who were displaced. For her, Comfort Diva is more than a lifestyle brand, it's a mission to help animals and their owners find their joy again.
