Nancy Johnston is the Founder of Truuce, a woman-owned, direct-to-consumer bedding brand redefining how people experience rest. With a background in consumer products, accounting, and textile construction, Nancy brings a rare blend of technical precision and hands-on creativity to every detail of the Truuce system. She’s a Certified Public Accountant and Master Seamstress whose career has always been shaped by adaptability, qualtiy and excellence. Based in Hunt Valley, Maryland, Nancy ensures that every touchpoint with Truuce reflects the same care and intention woven into the bedding itself.

Julia is a marketing veteran who has over a decade of experience in branding, partnerships, content creation, influencer relations and marketing, endorsements, public relations, and social media. She has managed campaigns and partnerships for highly visible brands including BMW, Southwest Airlines, Gatorade, UnitedHealthcare and more.She spent 7 years at an agency based in Atlanta, GA as Director Marketing and ascended to Vice President of Branding by 2018. She oversaw all marketing activities for the firm and led branding strategy and execution for the high profile clients represented by the agency. Julia began consulting for brands and non-profit organizations in late 2021, and has helped guide and create marketing strategies that utilize athletes and influencers in meaningful ways - including charitable connections, PR and media opportunities, NIL partnerships, brand building, and endorsements. She joined Brutus Broth in 2023 as their Chief Marketing Officer, and is excited to be a part of a rapidly growing female-founded CPG brand.

Chrissy Fichtl is the founder of APOTHEKE, a Brooklyn-based fragrance brand known for its handcrafted candles, soaps, and thoughtfully blended scents. An entrepreneur at heart, Chrissy’s passion for soap-making, scent formulation, and essential oils led her to establish APOTHEKE in 2011. Her journey began in the fashion industry, where she worked in manufacturing before opening a small shop in the Hamptons. There, she discovered the art of essential oils, sourcing ingredients directly from farms and teaching herself soap-making and fragrance blending in her own kitchen. By 2012, APOTHEKE had outgrown its beginnings, opening a 3,000-square-foot factory in Brooklyn. In 2021, the brand expanded further with a 10,000-square-foot facility and its first flagship store in the same neighborhood, marking a new chapter while staying true to its roots. Today, APOTHEKE’s candles and soaps are still made by hand, and each fragrance is carefully blended in Brooklyn. The brand is available at leading retailers, including Nordstrom, West Elm, Bloomingdale’s, and Crate & Barrel. Chrissy lives in Brooklyn with her husband and Co-Founder, Sebastian Picasso, their two daughters, and two dogs.

Sue serves as Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Brutus Broth, Inc. Sue is a graduate of St. Lawrence University and has a strong background in marketing and business. Before launching Brutus Broth, Sue co-founded and served as President of Ilios Dairy Brands, LLC, a dairy company focused on offering an innovative and natural alternative in the dairy segment. The Ilios’ Greek Yogurt Butter was lauded as a “Top New Products” by Supermarket Guru in August 2012 and as a “Rising Star” in Specialty Foods Magazine in November 2012. Prior to launching Ilios, Sue spent 10 years as a fundraising and strategic marketing professional in a variety of non-profit organizations. She focused on major giving ($10,000+), endowment gifts and planned giving. She played a key role in securing gifts from Individuals, Foundations and Corporations as well as handling all Media Relations.

Sloane Gibney Grossberg is the founder of and sole designer for shortyLOVE bags. A Jersey girl always and forever, she’s devoted to her husband and two children, stays close to her sisters, walks her dogs daily, and falls hard for a smart, stylish bag — that’s why she designs them for a living!

Stephanie Kriebel is a visionary business leader whose innovative spirit and can-do attitude are hallmarks of her success. Since co-founding OMG! Pretzels in 2014, her business and operations strategies have more than tripled the company. As CEO, Stephanie practices straightforward and transparent communication and leads by example – hard work, strong goals, and big dreams. An autodidactic graphic artist, poet and fashion model, Lindsey is the creative specialist on the team. Bringing years’ experience with Royal Caribbean, and a diverse portfolio of campaigns from Macy’s to MAC Cosmetics, she’s helped launch successful brands in the alternative cannabis industry such as Mellow Fellow. Lindsey develops business relations, branding and marketing strategies from wholesale to retail.
