Houston, TX (January 30, 2025) — Fraulein Boot Company, the Texas-based women’s cowboy boot maker known for its handcrafted luxury footwear, is excited to announce the launch of a pop-up shop at River Oaks Shopping Center in Houston. The pop-up will be open from Feb. 26 to March 20, 2025, coinciding with the highly anticipated Houston Rodeo season.
Located at 1962 West Gray St., the pop-up shop will feature the brand’s signature boots, including the newly debuted Texas Collection, which celebrates the Lone Star State’s beauty, culture and stories. The shop will be open Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday, 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. The festivities will kick off with an exclusive, invitation-only grand opening event on Feb. 27 from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., offering guests a first look at the collection and the chance to meet the founders, Margaret Walker and Sarah Caruth.
"The Texas Collection is deeply personal to us,” said Fraulein Boot Company founder Margaret Walker. "Growing up in Houston, our road trips across the state were a formative part of who we are today. This collection is a love letter to the places, people, and memories that shaped us. We're thrilled to share Fraulein’s Texas Collection with the Houston community, where we’ve found such a loyal and passionate following."
The Texas Collection includes three boots inspired by the founders' personal experiences in Texas: the Buttercup, a tribute to carefree days on the Bolivar Peninsula; the Dogwood, honoring family traditions in East Texas; and the Cactus, a nod to the striking landscapes of West Texas. Prices range from $1,060 to $1,100.
In addition to the Texas Collection, the pop-up will feature a rotating selection of local vendors offering custom cowboy hats, handcrafted leather goods, Texas-inspired jewelry, and apparel. San Antonio-based Hillary Conrey of Courtney & Co. will design the pop-up space, blending vintage charm with Western sophistication to create an inviting atmosphere for guests to shop and explore.

"Houston has become one of our most important markets, and the timing with the Houston Rodeo just makes it all come together perfectly. Fraulein Boots are already beloved by celebrities and musicians, including Carly Pearce, Briley King, Margo Price, Sierra Ferrell, Lola Kirke, Maggie Rose, Taylor Day Grace, The Castellows, Kaitlin Butts, Hassie Harrison, and Willow Avalon—further cementing the brand’s place at the intersection of style, music, and Western culture.
Collaborations during the pop-up include a live performance by Catie Offerman at the grand opening, jewelry from Mandriana, and live sketching by artist Tyler Darling. Additional vendors will include Sunday Supper and Hart Jewelry, among others.
In addition to the Texas Collection, the pop-up will feature popular styles like the Sneaky Snake Boot, the Gameday Boot (perfect for Longhorn fans), and the iconic SA Rose Boots in turquoise and cream. Customization options will also be available through artist Carla Valencia, who will offer bespoke monogramming on select boots.
