NEW YORK, NY, April 27, 2023 - Dinner Service NY, the fashion brand powered by story-driven capsule collections designed in collaboration with music artists to yield unique plastic-free, non-gender clothing, announces its new pop-up location in New York’s Nolita neighborhood for a year-long residence. The brand is opening its doors to a unique shopping experience at 259 Elizabeth Street, where shoppers will get the ultimate nostalgic look and feel of the brand through elements such as a record player, authentic vintage black and chrome diner stools, warm olive-hued walls, and wood paneling—evoking a local dive bar where the bartender knows your name and claims the best plate of loaded tots in the city.
Beyond the comforting throwback aesthetic, Dinner Service NY’s new shop will offer drinks and treats to customers from their in-store bar. “We want to bring the essence of the brand to life by providing a space for people to gather, connect, and make memories without any hesitation–no reservations,” says Co-Founder Gabrielle Gomes.
Open seven days a week from 11am to 7pm, the new store elevates the retail experience. Designed to provide a comfortable and inviting atmosphere, the venue offers a unique blend of shopping, music, and relaxation. Customers can shop the newest artist capsules and best-selling fashion from talented artists, including three-time Grammy Award-nominated artist Tayla Parx, NYC-based Multi-Instrumentalist Augie Bello, Artist and Illustrator Maggie Cowles, and many more. Weekend shoppers can take advantage of the happy hour specials, running from 5pm to 7pm on Saturdays and Sundays while perusing store-wide discounts with drink specials in hand.
In February 2023, Dinner Service NY rebranded to showcase the company’s commitment to raising awareness around the consumption of plastic-based fabrics through its artist support network. The name is derived from a shared, everyday event, one that is a part of the global culture. “Dinner is something everyone can relate to. It’s a time when friends and families come together and share in conversation,” says Co-Founder Trina Assur. Meanwhile, the brand’s tagline, “NO RESERVATIONS” encourages shoppers to free their inhibitions and live according to their own rules and style.
To celebrate the momentous moment, Dinner Service NY will be hosting a grand opening party on April 27th from 5:30pm to 8:00pm where the general public can enjoy live music, free beverages, and limited edition giveaways.
