The Last

The last serves as the foundation for a shoe, shaping its size, form, and overall appearance.

The Edward Last features an almond-shaped toe, a medium width tread and a slightly narrower middle section.

Maker & Tannery

Each and every pair of our shoes are made by hand in Portugal.

For the uppers of these shoes, we use leather from the renowned Conceria Zabri tannery in Italy, ensuring exceptional quality and Leather Working Group certification.

Materials, Sole & Construction

Patent Leather: A perfectly smooth, mirror-shine finish, the leather begins life as a fine grain hide before being lacquered.

Full Leather Sole with Rubber Island: A full leather sole reinforced with rubber inserts for improved grip and durability.

Blake Construction: The outsole is stitched directly to the insole, as opposed to glued, removing the need for extra layers for a refined silhouette.
