The Model 2 Algren is built for versatility, transitioning seamlessly from boardroom to weekend adventures. Powered by a precision quartz movement, it features a distinctive cushion-shaped case and Swiss Super-LumiNova Grade-A lume for exceptional readability in any light. Each Algren includes two quick release straps — a Milanese mesh bracelet and an Italian leather band — giving wearers the flexibility to adapt their style with ease.
Named for celebrated Chicago author Nelson Algren, the design reflects his blend of grit and elegance, pairing practical durability with refined details. - Movement: Swiss Made Ronda Quartz
- Functions: Hours, minutes, seconds and date functions.
- Glass: Domed sapphire glass with anti-reflective coating.
- Dial: Matte colored dial. The index is a combination of arabic numerals and markers applied and filled with Super-LumiNova. Printed second track with raised markers and filled with lume at every hour. Round bevel date at 3 o’clock with printed frame.
- Case: 40mm cushion shaped case, 10.7mm depth (including domed crystal), 48mm lug-to-lug and 22mm between lugs. Bracelet width is 22mm.
- Crown: Stainless steel onion crown with embossed Hampden logo.
- Bands: 22mm polished surgical quality 316L Milanese mesh metal two-piece band. Includes additional Italian leather strap; easily interchangeable (no tools required).
