This style uses a patchwork jacquard that comes from a factory in Thailand. Jacquards are neat because the pattern (in this case a patchwork design) is woven directly into the fabric as opposed to the fabric being patched together, one square at a time.

The weave of this fabric varies, the squares of the patchwork go from deep dark indigo to a light indigo comprised of 100% cotton. It's a nice substantial 12oz weight, not too lightweight but definitely not heavy. It has a nice drape to it so the bag will kind of take on whatever shape of what it has inside. 

Inside the main compartment is a pocket made of a 5oz 100% cotton, Japanese indigo chambray to put your wallet, keys and phone - deep enough that things will stay put but shallow enough that you can easily access them. On the outside of bag, there's a patch pocket for easy access to anything you might want to keep handy. Keeping the bag clean finished are some binding tape also made from the same chambray.

Designed with 1 1/2" wide, 100% cotton webbing, the shoulder handles are heavyweight but also really soft. Set with a triangle stitch, the handles aren't going anywhere
