She is the founder of Boober, a unique maternal health marketplace that connects expectant and new parents to expert classes and non-clinical care providers—such as birth doulas, postpartum doulas, and lactation consultants—offering the lifesaving physical, emotional, and informational support needed to thrive during the transition to parenthood. She also founded Birth Day Presence, NYC’s most trusted doula training and childbirth education center, which has supported over 20,000 families and doulas since 2002.Jada began her journey in birth work after witnessing a powerful, community-centered birth that transformed her understanding of what childbirth could and should be. A doula, childbirth educator, lactation counselor, birth photographer, and consultant to the film and TV industry, Jada has personally supported thousands of families—from first-time parents to A-list celebrities. She is a sought-after media expert on pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum, lactation, and newborn parenting, she regularly consults on film projects, advising actors like Jennifer Lawrence on how to realistically portray childbirth and breastfeeding and moderates panels in her space.A recipient of the Anthem Whole Health Heroes Award for her impact on the wellness of New Yorkers, Jada is also a committed activist working to end systemic racism in maternal health.
