About

Wonderland Dreams by Alexa Meade, the new, interactive art experience and bar from artist Alexa Meade, is now open in New York City (529 5th Avenue) for a limited time, through December 2023. Tickets are on sale now at: wonderlanddreams.com. Follow @wonderlanddreamland on Instagram and TikTok for the latest updates.

Guests of all ages will be welcome to go on a mesmerizing journey through the looking glass and into an immersive dreamscape loosely inspired by the magic of Lewis Carroll’s "Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland." Every inch of the 26,000-square-feet exhibition space is painted from floor to ceiling in Alexa Meade’s signature 3D painting style that allows visitors to step inside the painting.

The main ticketed exhibit is where visitors of all ages can wander through over 30 rooms full of Alexa Meade’s painted dreams, each filled with sensational art installations. Descend the rainbow mirrored stairs and fall down the rabbit hole into a world of Playing Card Palaces, Mad Tea Parties, Rainbow Nights, a special NYC-inspired Back Alley, and a Living Gallery that puts you inside the picture frame.

Absolutely everything in sight is within reach, with guests encouraged to use any props available to best enjoy their experience. Don a colorful knight’s helmet or an oversized rose crown as you walk through each painted dream, sip from a tiny teacup while posing with delightfully colored macarons, or sit on a giant painted throne fit for royalty. Immersive art and colorful lights will make you feel at home in this wonderfully eclectic home for dreams and visions

Founding Story

Wonderland Dreams by Alexa Meade brings to life the story of "Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland" through boldly painted art installations, creating a whimsical world that plays with our perspective of art and reality. Fall down the rabbit hole into a world of secret rose gardens, mad tea parties, and a living art gallery that puts you inside the frame.

Located at 529 Fifth Avenue, just steps from NYC’s iconic Bryant Park, Wonderland Dreams is open Fall 2022 to Spring 2023, thanks to a partnership with Catching Flights. Every inch of the 26,000 square foot exhibition space is hand-painted from floor to ceiling, letting visitors walk inside a multi-dimensional work of art.

Artist Alexa Meade paints on the human body and three-dimensional spaces, creating the illusion that our reality is a two-dimensional painting. Alexa’s art has been exhibited around the world at the Grand Palais in Paris, the Saatchi Gallery in London, the United Nations in New York, Shibuya Crossing in Tokyo, and the Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery in Washington, DC. Her artwork has also been exhibited in space, orbiting the Earth on the history-making SpaceX Inspiration4 mission.
