VIM & VIGR is redefining what compression socks can be. Traditionally, this category has been clinical and uninspired. Something people wear because they have to, not because they want to.
We saw an opportunity to change that by blending medical-grade function with everyday style and comfort. Our socks deliver true graduated compression that supports circulation and keeps legs feeling energized, but they’re designed with playful patterns, elevated staples, and premium fabrics that belong in your everyday sock drawer.
With four different fabric options and dozens of designs, we make it easy for people to find compression that fits their lifestyle, whether for health, travel, work, or recovery. Our customers are loyal because we meet both their practical needs and their desire for products that feel “normal,” stylish, and comfortable to wear every day.
Founding Story
Working in the healthcare industry for over 14 years, founder Michelle Huie has dedicated her adult life to introducing innovative technology and products to people that need it the most. In 2013, after moving to Missoula, Montana from New York City, she found myself sitting for long periods of time at a new job. At the time, she had no idea that sitting or standing for long periods could have such negative effects on the body, especially on how her legs felt.
When she mentioned her new sedentary situation to a physical therapist, he recommended compression socks. The only options available were athletic or medical use socks and nothing reflected her personal style. This inspired her to start VIM & VIGR: a high-quality compression legwear line with stylish designs to be worn all day.
