Founding Story

Inspired by Family Dinners, Nostalgia, and Southern Hospitality

The Printed Gift was born in Nashville, Tennessee, around the same time Mary and Russ welcomed their first child. They were inspired by the warmth of Southern living: porch swings, weekend estate sales, country stores, handwritten thank-you notes, and mason jars used for just about everything.

With that inspiration in mind, they set out to create something more than just a product - a way to preserve the handwriting, memories, and traditions that connect generations.

What started as a simple idea quickly resonated, striking an emotional chord with family and friends spread across the country. It earned heartfelt messages, handwritten thank-yous, and a loyal community who saw their family memories come to life in unexpected ways.
