South 23rd offers So.CachePot (pronounced - so-cash-po), a patent-pending decorative planter/pot cover allowing homeowners to transform their outdoor spaces easily. This innovative product enables users to elevate seasonal plants quickly by simply placing a pre-potted plant directly inside, eliminating the need for multiple planters and the mess associated with traditional repotting. Available in multiple sizes and timeless prints, So.CachePot planter covers are made with outdoor fabric, fit most standard plant containers, and are proudly made in North Carolina. So.CachePot empowers homeowners to refresh their porch décor effortlessly, adding sophistication and style to their outdoor areas with minimal effort.
Founding Story
I founded South 23rd to solve my own problem, never finding the look that I saw in my home decor magazines for seasonal porch planters. Always searching for the aesthetic and designer feel in my outdoor spaces, I set out to create something that would mirror that of a home design magazine. So.CachePot was created for outdoor use, however, it didn’t take long to realize Porch Pop was being used for both indoors and outdoors by my customers.
The idea came to me one day as I was thumbing through my home decor magazine. The article was about a family that had remodeled a home. The house was beautiful, the family was adorable but what really caught my eye was the plants the photographer had staged along the walk. They were boxwoods that had burlap fabric wrapped around the pot. I started to think about all the beautiful patterns and prints we never see outdoors and wondered what it would look like to have something to cover ugly landscaping pots. We spend so much time decorating our homes inside. Taking time to find pieces that reflect our own personality and are often left to settle for whatever the local Home Improvement stores have chosen for our outdoor space. So.CachePot prints are chosen with the trending styles and designs in mind leaving homeowners the opportunity to have their style shine- inside and out!

Susan Campbell is the founder and CEO of South 23rd, a North Carolina-based boutique brand specializing in decorative planter covers and home decor solutions. With more than two decades of experience in sales across multiple industries, Susan leveraged her background and passion for design to launch South 23rd after identifying a unique need for stylish, easy-to-use home accents that seamlessly elevate indoor and outdoor spaces.
Driven by her vision to make beautiful design accessible for all, she invented the So.CachePot—a patent-pending planter cover that blends innovation and function with style. Her entrepreneurial journey garnered recognition as the first-place recipient of the Vanity Fair & Leanne Morgan grant for women entrepreneurs, affirming her impact on the home decor market.
A proud advocate for women in business, Susan’s mission centers on empowering women to create inviting, personalized homes using approachable decor and practical styling tips.
