SHRED DOG makes premium, outdoor apparel that fits better, works better, looks cool, and is sold at a much better price compared to other brands. SHRED DOG is pure direct-to-consumer, enabling them to invest more in higher quality gear and still sell it for less without the retail markup.
SHRED DOG has built products that parents and kids love, but is building a brand and company that everyone can be a part of. They involve their customers in a unique way that allows and encourages parents and their kids to participate in ALL of their product designs.
And the company is about more than just high performance quality at an affordable price. Their mission is to help more families, make more magic, and more memories in the outdoors. Beyond providing great gear for individual families, SHRED DOG also gives back with cash and gear donations to non-profits that share its mission to Get More Kids Outside.
When SHRED DOG Co-Founders, Marc and Dallas met in 2017, Marc was an outdoor dad of a 7-yr old and buying premium gear so he and his son could stay outside, no matter what. They found that - especially for kids - most brands were too expensive, low quality, and in many cases both.
Meanwhile, Dallas was an expectant dad at the time (now father of three), and shared the same goal of raising his new family with outdoor adventures. Dallas was also deep in the outdoor industry, building expedition-grade technical apparel.
They were both in pursuit of better gear for both kids and adults, and with that, SHRED DOG was born.
