shortyLOVE is an athleisure line of handbags created by Sloane Gibney Grossberg. Designed to be softer, smarter and more organized, the growing collection of 7 silhouettes in 6 colorways proves today’s active, busy women can have practicality without sacrificing style. Softer: sleek, lightweight and wearable all day, every day, season after season — crafted of plush, water-resistant nylon twill exterior that molds to the body and silky straps that don’t dig, slide or slip. Smarter: classic, sophisticated style that’s durable and wipeable, designed with multiple ways to wear, hands-free or carry, with removable and adjustable straps. More organized: that means pockets pockets pockets, clever storage compartments, zippers to hold essentials in check, details like water bottle pockets and a padded laptop case (some styles), and a light interior to simplify hunting for that elusive item.

The business is fully woman owned and operated - just Sloane and a few trusted contractors. Sloane has been building the business organically without any outside funding so that the business can remain true to her vision.

Founding Story

Sloane saw an unmet demand for stylish everyday bags, she launched shortyLOVE bags in 2019. Grossberg’s career as a designer has taken her around the world in search of high-end textiles and hardware. She knows what it takes to fabricate luxurious details without creating a bag so precious that it needs to be babied or so trendy that it will soon be out of vogue. shortyLOVE was born out of Sloane's desire to create her own version of a smartly designed, fashionable AND functional bag for today's woman.
