Seesaw Health Founding Story
Seesaw Health began with a personal search for balance. Founder Celine Vignal set out to create the kind of tool she wished she’d had while navigating years of chronic inflammation and migraine episodes. Traditional treatments offered temporary relief, but none addressed the underlying imbalance between stress, inflammation, and the body’s recovery systems. Celine realized that true wellness required understanding , seeing and measuring what was happening inside the body in real time.
Guided by this belief that “you can’t manage what you can’t measure,” she founded Seesaw Health to empower people ( especially women) to take a proactive, science-based approach to self-regulation. By combining biosensing technology with breathwork, Seesaw helps users visualize and rebalance their internal stress and inflammatory responses to cultivate long-term resilience.
The company’s signature device, “the egg,” embodies both biological symbolism and functional design. The name reflects its roots in women’s physiology, particularly how the parasympathetic nervous system and inflammatory responses fluctuate throughout the menstrual cycle, often diminishing calm and balance around ovulation, when an egg is released. Physically, the device’s egg-like shape represents renewal and the potential for growth, a tangible reminder that regulation and recovery begin within.

Celine Vignal is the founder of Seesaw Health, a pioneering femtech company at the intersection of women’s health, biosensing, and behavioral therapies. With over two decades of global experience in sensor technology, marketing, and product innovation, her work bridges cutting-edge science with deeply personal insight.
After decades of navigating chronic migraines, Celine became driven to understand the link between nervous system regulation, cyclical inflammation, and chronic symptoms. This journey inspired Seesaw Health’s mission: to help women rebalance their nervous system and exit fight-or-flight mode (quickly, naturally, and effectively) through biofeedback-guided breathwork.
Under her leadership, Seesaw’s cross-disciplinary team is advancing patented digital biomarkers and real-time analytics that translate physiological signals into daily, actionable feedback. Using the company’s egg biosensor and companion breathwork app, women can now visualize their body’s stress and recovery cycles, gaining confidence and control over daily stressors, anxiety, flare-ups, and hormonal shifts that often disrupt focus, energy, and well-being.
