Founding Story

It began in 1989 at the snail farm owned by the Royer family on the French west coast

A few years ago, Sébastien and Olivier Royer took over the farm from their parents, continuing the family tradition. Experiencing the benefits of snail slime, and with the knowledge of its beneficial properties, they began to develop a line of skin care products – with the snail slime from the snails bred at the family farm as the key ingredient.


With the launch of RoyeR Cosmétique in 2013, RoyeR is one of the first French manufacturers of organic cosmetics with snail slime.

RoyeR Cosmétique offers a line of skin care products for the face and body with 16 products based on pure snail slime – that also provide great results during a professional skin treatment at a beauty salon or spa. For the production of the products, only fresh snail slime is utilized, not an extract that contains a lesser concentration of the valuable ingredients.
