Rebellious Pins is a Black owned, woman owned, and self funded brand creating bold, authentic, and unapologetic accessories that celebrate Black culture in all its brilliance. Each pin, charm, and patch tells a story rooted in pride, humor, and truth, turning everyday expressions into wearable art. From AAVE phrases that spark recognition to designs that honor our shared history, every piece is made for the ones who get it.
We serve the everyday Black woman who deserves to see herself represented with depth and joy. In a world that often tries to silence or sanitize our culture, Rebellious Pins stands firm as a reminder that our stories, language, and creativity are powerful forms of resistance. We exist to make culture visible, one pin at a time.
Founding Story
Rebellious Pins was born from a pivot. When founder Ambra Jordan’s stationery line wasn’t selling the way she hoped, she decided to add a few small accessories to give people more options at a lower price point. What started as a simple experiment turned into something powerful when her first enamel pin, the “92%” pin, sold out multiple times and brought in tens of thousands in revenue. That moment changed everything.
Ambra realized people weren’t just buying accessories, they were buying meaning. They wanted to be seen, heard, and understood. From that realization, Rebellious Pins became a bold, unapologetic celebration of Black culture, turning everyday language, humor, and shared experiences into wearable art that resonates deeply with the community it represents.
