Founding Story
Inspired after watching his dad, a lifelong athlete, struggle with intense muscle spasms and plantar fasciitis, John Benjamin set out to create a solution. He became fixated on how to deliver deep, penetrating muscle relief in a form that was neither harsh nor unwieldy. Through collaboration with leaders in sports medicine and orthopedics – as well as team of over 30 industrial designers and engineers – the Rally device took shape. Today, Rally is being used to treat professional athletes around the world, helping them to train harder and recover faster as the first orbital massage tool that works with the body, not against it. Rally helps treat sore, tight areas, enhance mobility and ultimately empower people to live a more active, energetic life.

John is a founding advisor and inventor of Rally. John has been a senior startup operator and strategic consultant for over ten years. He has contributed commentary on business for Time Magazine, Barron's, and Fortune. He holds a BA from the University of Virginia, an MA from Georgetown University, and an MBA from the M.I.T. Sloan School of Management, where he was a Dean's Fellow and lecturer. He lives in New York City.
