Opal Cool is a line of cooling therapy products that are clinically-tested and uniquely designed for hot women. Created by Xena Therapies, a medical devices company, Opal Cool specializes in providing cooling products to bring comfort and relief for women during various stages of life, including motherhood, perimenopause and menopause, injury repair, surgery and chemotherapy recovery, and for those with Multiple Sclerosis (MS). The brand caters to individuals suffering from overheating, hot flashes, and discomfort.
Opal Cool products are uniquely made with plant-based cooling phase change material (PCM) that can be applied directly to the skin for safe, soothing, and enjoyable cooling therapy without the worry of uncomfortable ice burns or frostbite. The innovative products are offered at 58° Chill designed for cool therapy and relief that re-cools in the refrigerator and 80° Go that re-cool at room temperature and travels well.
Founding Story
Opal Cool was created by Tammy Lee, CEO and founder of Xena Therapies, a med tech company. In 2020, Tammy set out on a mission to innovate effective health and wellness solutions that are clinically proven for unmet or underserved needs. She created the Opal Cool line of cooling therapies designed especially for women's heat-related issues as she suffered from mastitis during her breastfeeding days and understands the toll hot flashes can have on women. The brand is befitting for women as Opal is symbolic of health, healing and resilience.
