Founding Story

Founded in 2018, Molly Blakeley was down to her last $150 as a single mother in a rural town in Alaska. Molly took her 30 plus years of experience in the food and beverage industry and borrowed a friend’s food trailer and started a taco stand on the side of the road. She and her 10 year old son started selling halibut tacos!

People started asking for something sweet, so Molly started making gourmet cookies and Molly Bz cookies were born! Molly and her son went from 20 dozen a week to 45 dozen a day in just 3 months! She had to move production into a church kitchen and soon found a bakery to fulfill orders for local coffee shops and stores.

Soon the local bakeries could not keep up, so Molly found a cookie factory in North Carolina. In just a few years, Molly blasted into a National brand! She now uses 6 cookie factories! You can now purchase Molly Bz cookies in all 50 states, & 4 different countries!

Medium - May 02, 2026 Gifts Nana Really Wants This Mother’s Day, According to My Almost 3-Year-Old Grandson "There’s something about Mother’s Day that hits a little differently once you become a Nana. It’s softer, sweeter, and honestly… a whole lot more fun. This year, I’m celebrating as “Nana Z,” a title given to me by my not-quite-three-year-old grandson, Jack. And let me tell you, when that tiny voice calls out “Nana Z,” the world just stops for a second. It’s pure magic. At this age, he’s not exactly scrolling gift guides or adding things to cart, but if he could choose gifts for me, I have a pretty good idea of what he’d pick. It wouldn’t be about price tags or prestige. It would be about what makes us smile, what we can share, and what reminds us of each other when we’re apart."
