MOGSki is a luxury winter footwear house hand-crafted in Inner Mongolia, blending Evenki-inspired design with modern performance. Its one-of-a-kind boots are water-resistant, warm without bulk, easy to maintain, and comfortable for all-day wear—fashion-forward enough for après-ski and polished enough for city streets.
MOGSki works in small batches with local artisans and cultural collaborators, helping sustain the local community and keep heritage skills alive. The brand’s responsibility practice is direct and verifiable: it uses reclaimed, by-product leather and fur sourced from other industries (no animals are harmed for the purpose of making its products) and partners with traceable workshops committed to craft, transparency, and longevity.
Founding Story
MOGSki was founded by Gaofei after experiencing two very different winters: the −40°F steppe of Inner Mongolia and the slushy city streets of New England. Seeing how most cold-weather footwear forced a trade-off between warmth, grip, and elegance, she set out to end that compromise. Drawing on the resilience and aesthetics of Evenki culture, she partnered with Inner Mongolian artisans to develop one-of-a-kind, hand-crafted boots—built for real winter life, from après-ski lounges to snow-covered city sidewalks.
