Marotta, MD was founded in 2005 by Dr. James C. Marotta, MD, FACS, with a hands-on, entrepreneurial spirit that continues to define the practice today. In its earliest days, the practice was truly a one-man operation. Dr. Marotta personally managed every aspect of the business, from patient consultations and surgical care to instrument sterilization and even cleaning the office after hours. Those formative years shaped not only the work ethic of the practice, but its values, creating a culture rooted in accountability, respect, and pride in every detail.

As the practice evolved, those values were formalized into PACT, the core principles that guide MarottaMD every day: a shared commitment to Patient-first care, Attitude, Commitment to Care, and Teamwork. Growth followed intentionally and in response to patient demand, transforming MarottaMD into a multidisciplinary aesthetic destination with more than 30 staff members, specialized surgeons, and highly trained aesthetic providers. Today, the practice offers a comprehensive range of cosmetic surgery and non-surgical services - including injectables, advanced aesthetics, and skin care, supported by a private skin care line, while remaining firmly physician-led.
