From inception, Large as Life has been committed to improving the animal and human world. Large as Life is a member of 1% for the Planet®. Large as Life trivia puzzles are manufactured within the United States.
Large as Life is dedicated to enhancing connection:
- Connection with people (via trivia questions and answers) while connecting the puzzle pieces
- Connection with the natural world, as individuals and families increase in knowledge, appreciation, and awe of wildlife.
Founding Story
Large as Life started in 2023 in Cortney’s living room in Rupert, Idaho. Cortney was originally inspired to create life-size animal puzzles while touring the U.S. National Parks. After joining together with Valerie and Dan, product development began in 2023. In 2024 they launched the original life-size trivia puzzle — the first of its kind — combining life-size puzzles and engaging trivia into a single integrative experience.
The two majority owners, Cortney & Valerie (sisters in law), are a professional educator and photographer by trade, which has profoundly shaped the philosophy and product development of the company.
