Founding Story
Elina Furman is a Certified Infant Massage Instructor with over 15 years in the baby products industry. She is deeply passionate about spreading awareness about the importance of infant/child massage and earned her infant massage certification after talking to many parents who were confused and bewildered about how to perform baby massage.
She first became interested in baby massage having gone through colic with her oldest son and learning the art of child massage when he was diagnosed with clinical anxiety at the age of 8. She wondered why she was never taught how to do baby massage when he was a baby and wanted to create a product to help other parents begin this bonding and nurturing journey.
As a new mom, Elina wished she had known about the role that touch and massage plays in establishing the connection between mom and baby. By helping to empower and educate families about the importance of two-way physical communication in an ever increasingly disconnected world, Elena hopes to provide a strong foundation for families built on trust, touch and love.
Bonding with your baby is SO important, and the Kahlmi allows you to do that. Using massage techniques, you can engage with your baby and help them feel relaxed and comfortable. The gentle vibrations they feel are similar to what they felt in the womb, and the percussive motions may help loosen up their airways if they sound congested.
