Isla Capricho Homeware is a design-forward homeware brand inspired by the vibrant spirit of island living. Founded by three sisters and rooted in their Colombian heritage, the brand blends artisanal craftsmanship with timeless design to create tableware and decor that elevate everyday moments. From hand-embroidered, machine-washable linens to hand-painted ceramics, each piece is made to be both beautiful and practical—crafted for real life and meant to be used, enjoyed, and gathered around daily.

Founding Story

Isla Capricho Homeware was born from three sisters’ shared love of hosting and their deep connection to their family’s island home off the coast of Cartagena, Colombia. Surrounded by vibrant tables, fresh food, and long, laughter-filled meals, they came to cherish the beauty of gathering—and noticed a gap in the market for high-quality, design-forward homeware that was both special and meant to be used every day. Inspired by those island memories and driven by a desire to make beautiful things accessible, they launched Isla Capricho: a brand rooted in joy, craftsmanship, and the art of living well.

A mother of four with a natural talent for hosting, Stephanie brings a warm, intuitive approach to design—infusing each piece with a sense of ease, joy, and everyday beauty. Drawing from her Colombian roots and family traditions, she helps create timeless homeware meant for gathering, celebrating, and making memories around the table.

With a background in marketing, product development, and sustainability, she brings a thoughtful approach to creating high-quality homeware that blends beauty and function. Originally from Colombia and now based in Miami, Vanessa holds a B.A. in History from the University of Pennsylvania. She draws inspiration from her family’s island home to craft vibrant, timeless pieces that elevate everyday rituals.
