Founding Story
We're Dan and Sam, the husband-wife duo behind Happy Duo. We’ve both built successful businesses before, but the idea that kept pulling us in was simple: selling fun. We realized we’re the best team when we create together, so we decided to pour our experience into a business that makes it easier for families and friends to laugh, play, and connect. We’re parents to a 9- and 5-year-old, and family time means everything to us. For kids, the most valuable thing is feeling truly “seen” by their parents. That’s why we prioritize quality time—whether it’s teaching them something new, sharing experiences, or just playing a silly game. Those are the kinds of moments that stick, and that’s what we want our products to spark for other families and friends too. We come from a background of creating best-selling games, so we know how to design experiences that are engaging and actually get played.
