While it might not have the same charm as our favorite from Dualit, this throwback toaster has looked dashing on our countertop during our latest round of testing. We tested the Putty gray color with chrome accents. Other hues available include black with copper, red or Cedar Green. The two-slice variation goes for $70. While a good-looking appliance that works is all some shoppers want, there was still actual bread to toast with the Dorset. Thankfully, it didn’t let us down. Though the unit felt surprisingly light and springy, its dual dials let us nail the exact right amount of crisp we wanted on our white bread. The crumb trays ejected from the back with ease too."
