Gigantic makes Candy Deluxe—a candy bar that actually passes the thrill test. Born in New York and built for foodies, it brings elevated, modern indulgence to a category that’s lost its edge.
It started from a simple idea: the candy aisle was broken. Traditional bars had become cheap, artificial, and stupid sweet. The so-called “better-for-you” options were bland knockoffs, built to win on a label instead of in your mouth. Gigantic set out to make something worth eating again.
Candy Deluxe is built around Italian dark chocolate, brown sugar caramel, and dialed-down sweetness that lets real flavor shine. It’s rich, balanced, and designed for people who take what they’re tasting seriously.
The brand carries a distinct New York point of view. The logo was drawn by a renowned graffiti artist, and the packaging pulls from the energy of 90s NYC: grittier, more underground, and more charged with raw creativity than corporate polish. The slim Mini Deluxe bars come in a bold, pocketable pack that nods to that era’s vice culture without overplaying it. It’s something you pull out to enjoy, not something that sits in a pantry, forgotten.

Founding Story
After a healthy lunch in Manhattan left him wanting something more, lifelong New Yorker Stu Davidoff went looking for a candy bar and came up empty. The classics didn’t hit. The “better-for-you” options felt like a tradeoff before the first bite.
The craving itself wasn’t complicated. Stu wanted something small, indulgent, and seriously satisfying. A real hit of candy that could hold its own in New York City food culture. Something built for real flavor and pleasure, not another sad compromise from the health food store.
That gap turned into an idea, and then into a product. Candy Deluxe was built from the ground up to deliver flavor first, without faux nostalgia, shortcuts, or nutritional lectures. It’s a bolder, more thrilling take on what a candy bar can be.
Personal background: Before Gigantic, Stu spent over a decade in the financial world, staring at flashing little numbers on big computer screens and trading scary complex securities while dreaming about his next snack.
