About
Frondescent is a modern wellness brand working at the intersection of beauty, hormones, and longevity. The brand approaches health and beauty as biological systems rather than aesthetics or trends, creating offerings and education designed to support women through real life, not idealized routines. Frondescent’s philosophy centers on the idea that true radiance emerges when the body is supported from within, through intelligent formulation, respect for female physiology, and practices that are sustainable over time.
Rooted in both ancestral wisdom and modern science, Frondescent emphasizes endocrine-safe practices, thoughtful sourcing, and integrity across the supply chain. The brand is committed to long-term health outcomes, responsible partnerships, and education that empowers women to make informed decisions about their bodies. Through its work, Frondescent aims to redefine beauty as a state of resilience, vitality, and internal balance rather than performance or perfection.
Founding Story
Frondescent was co-founded by Alexandra Marshall and Bolor Erdenebat, who met in 2020 while working together in a demanding desk-based role. Despite being different ages and navigating different health concerns, they noticed something unexpected: the same foundational health practices consistently improved energy, skin, and overall resilience for both of them.
Instead of chasing trends, they began testing wellness rituals in real time, paying attention to what held up under busy schedules and cognitive load, and what fell apart once marketing was removed. That process revealed a clear gap in the wellness space. Too much advice was built for ideal conditions, not real life. Frondescent grew out of that realization, as a brand designed to help busy women focus on the few essential health levers that reliably move the needle, allowing beauty to emerge as a byproduct of a well-supported body.

Bolor Erdenebat
Cofounder
Bolor grew up in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, in a culture that placed deep trust in the body’s innate intelligence. From childhood, she was discouraged from using skincare, makeup, or even deodorant, taught instead that excessive products disrupt the body rather than support it. Beauty rituals were minimal and practical. One family story still shapes her thinking: when her mother developed acne, her own mother suggested pickle juice. She tried it once. The acne resolved and never returned.
With that foundation, Bolor never gravitated toward excess skincare or cosmetic correction. Rather than hiding perceived flaws, she became curious about why they appeared in the first place and what needed to change internally for her to feel aligned in her body. That curiosity evolved into a lifelong pattern of experimentation and optimization, spanning nutrition, micronutrients, hormones, metabolism, and daily rhythm.
Bolor approaches wellness with humility and rigor. She believes no two bodies are the same, and that true progress comes through observation, trial and error, and respect for biological individuality. Everything she learns, she tests, keeping what works, discarding what doesn’t.
Through Frondescent, Bolor shares what she has learned and lived. The goal is not perfection or quick fixes, but education and empowerment, helping women understand their own systems so they can build beauty, resilience, and confidence from the inside out.
Alexandra Marshall is the co-founder of Frondescent, a beauty x wellness company built on the belief that true beauty is a byproduct of deep nourishment, not surface-level correction.
After more than a decade working in clinical skincare, marketing, and product development at Dr. Nicholas Perricone’s company, Marshall gained firsthand insight into how beauty products are formulated, positioned, and sold, and how often they prioritize short-term cosmetic effects over long-term biological health. Her work spanned retail education, product development, and digital platforms including Sephora, QVC, and early-stage social media marketing.
Disillusioned by the industry’s focus on symptoms rather than systems, Marshall deepened her study of nutrition, herbalism, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Ayurveda, and hormone health. She began experimenting with plant oils, cycle literacy, and targeted nutrition, ultimately developing formulations and protocols that delivered durable improvements rather than temporary fixes.
Frondescent emerged from that work, creating intentionally formulated supplements and botanical oils designed to support hormonal balance, inflammation regulation, and long-term skin and hair resilience. The brand prioritizes education alongside product, helping women focus on the core systems that drive vitality, confidence, and natural beauty.
