February 1, 2022 – French Knot, a sustainable knitwear brand that works with artisans in Nepal, has been nominated for a Star Award for 2021 QVC Star Award for Small Business of the Year.
The Star Awards Presented by QVC & HSN celebrates their vendors and guests from both QVC and HSN for their accomplishments and stellar results against key performances indicators by letting them know when they’ve exceeded targets and expectations and by celebrating their successes in innovation, products, and overall excellence.
QVC & HSN chose three nominees who embody the qualities of this Award Category for Small Business of the Year and French Knot is one of them. As part of Qurate Retail Group’s corporate responsibility efforts focused on nurturing entrepreneurs of all backgrounds so that startups can become sustainable sources of income, inspiration, and community strength, they highlight exceptional stories of innovation and resilience of small businesses who have traditionally been denied access to the capital, training and networks needed to scale their businesses. Many of those businesses have seen great success across their various platforms. As such, the Small Business of the Year award is given to a small business vendor who has seen prior year success across all touch points.
The final winner will be announced later this month.
