EcoNugenics was founded in 1995 by Dr. Isaac Eliaz, a physician, researcher, and author whose training spans Western medicine, Traditional Asian medicine, and complementary healing systems. Early in his career as a practicing clinician, Dr. Eliaz recognized a gap that would shape the rest of his work: many of the supplements available to his patients were created by industry executives with little to no clinical background, and few were backed by meaningful scientific research. He saw firsthand how often patients needed effective, evidence-based options that simply did not exist on the market.

That realization became the foundation of EcoNugenics. Rather than formulate for the shelf, Dr. Eliaz set out to develop targeted natural solutions designed around the real health concerns he encountered in his practice, drawing on botanicals and nutrients from Traditional Chinese, Ayurvedic, and naturopathic traditions and pairing them with rigorous modern science.
