Dragonwing grew from our founder's wish for her daughter and girls everywhere to be empowered to be active and play sports with determination and joy—free from distraction and constraint.

Before Dragonwing was founded in 2013, clothes in the girls’ departments were all fashion and no function, and made of lower quality fabrics - not meant for athletes. Women's athletic wear didn’t fit and wasn’t age-appropriate.

The result of our founder's vision is a line of sports bras, support tops, compression shorts and athletic leggings designed for tween and teen girls. A fit that's made specifically for them.

We aim to empower girls by allowing them to focus on what's in front of them - rather than what they're wearing. Our products are not just scaled-down women’s designs — they’re made for girls’ bodies. High-quality seamless construction and technical fabrics support each garment’s function. No fuss, full coverage designs minimize distractions!

Our clothes are designed to support a range of activities, all day — from homeroom to homework, plus all the gymnastics/field hockey/hanging out in between.

We also LOVE bright and fun colors! We believe if you look good, you feel good, and if you feel good, you do good!

After a decade of inspiring and empowering girls everywhere, our founder retired from Dragonwing in 2021. But, that's not how our story ends. We plan to continue her mission and support the next generation of girls to brave the world.
