Dekáf Coffee Roasters announces the launch of its Prosperous Blend line, a new Lunar New Year coffee series designed to become an annual tradition rooted in intention, renewal, and thoughtful craftsmanship. The inaugural release honors 2026, the Year of the Fire Horse, marking the beginning of a seasonal offering from the decaf-first specialty roaster.
The 2026 Prosperous Blend was created to reflect the spirit of Lunar New Year - welcoming forward momentum while remaining grounded in care and balance. Inspired by the Fire Horse’s association with confidence, warmth, and independence, the 2026 edition is crafted as a composed, expressive coffee meant to be returned to year after year.
The blend brings together familiar and new origins from Dekáf’s lineup, combining coffees from Mexico and Guatemala with a rare addition from East Timor introduced exclusively for this release. The result is a medium roast with notes of candied orange, marron glacée, and dark chocolate, offering depth and structure while maintaining clarity and approachability.
A standout component of the 2026 Prosperous Blend is the inclusion of an AIFU Grade Fair Trade Organic coffee from Ermera, East Timor, grown by smallholder farmers at elevations above 1600 meters. Cultivated under dense shade and carefully washed before Swiss Water® decaffeination, this coffee adds nuance and lift to the blend while reflecting Dekáf’s ongoing commitment to ethical sourcing and quality.
Both the concept and execution of the new tradition aligns with Dekáf’s broader philosophy: that decaffeinated coffee deserves the same level of intention, creativity, and care as its caffeinated counterparts.
