Jake is the CEO of Danville Group, which includes Danville Brands, Danville Solutions, and Danville Advisors. A U.S.-born entrepreneur with more than two decades of cross-border business and investment experience, he has spent over 20 years living and working in China, with a career rooted at the intersection of consumer goods, technology, and e-commerce.

Jake has led businesses through every stage of growth, from co-founding and scaling startups to transforming established companies. He previously served on the executive team of Li & Fung, overseeing global brand acquisitions and divestitures, and later became CEO of Acorn International, a NYSE-listed company, where he repositioned the business into a leading e-commerce brand builder.

Based in Shanghai since 2012, Jake holds a B.A. from Columbia University and a J.D. from Harvard Law School.
