About
Coffee Table Art Book is a boutique publishing project centered on a contemporary art book that celebrates coffee through artistic expression. Founded by curator and collage artist Regan Caton, the project brings together artists and photographers from around the world to explore coffee as ritual, inspiration, and a connector of people and place.
Rooted in thoughtful curation and community, Coffee Table Art Book champions working artists through fair compensation and meaningful exposure, while emphasizing sustainability and intentional production. Designed to be lived with and lingered over, the project sits at the intersection of art, culture, and everyday ritual, creating beautifully made books meant for slower moments and shared experiences.
Founding Story
Coffee Table Art Book began with a simple observation: coffee shows up everywhere in artists’ lives—on studio tables, in sketchbooks, in daily rituals but rarely gets centered as a subject in contemporary art publishing. As a lifelong arts professional and practicing collage artist, founder and curator Regan Caton saw coffee not just as a drink, but as a shared language connecting artists, process, and place.
What started as an idea slowly took shape over several years through studio visits, conversations with artists, and international calls to creatives working across mediums. Regan began curating a collection that treated coffee as inspiration, material, and ritual, pairing artwork with the stories behind it, including artists’ go-to coffee orders and favorite local cafés.
The result is Coffee Table Art Book: a thoughtfully curated project rooted in community, fairness, and intentional making. Created to support working artists and invite slower moments of connection, the book reflects Regan’s belief that art, and coffee are best experienced when we take the time to linger.

The book features 65 artists and photographers from around the world and reflects her commitment to supporting working artists through fair compensation and exposure.
She is also a practicing collage artist, known for work that incorporates recycled, vintage materials and everyday ephemera, and the co-owner of Coffee Table Collective, a lifestyle store in Montclair, New Jersey, focused on art, antique furniture, and sustainably sourced finds. Across all of her ventures, Regan’s work centers on curation, community, and creating spaces, both physical and printed, where art and daily ritual intersect.
