Founding Story
In 2013, Christine Tate recognized a gap within Christian communities: while Bible study groups were thriving, many struggled with curricula that required extensive preparation outside of their gatherings. For busy women balancing family, work, and faith, this often became a barrier to participation. Christine envisioned a solution—Bible study resources designed to foster deep fellowship and meaningful discussion without the burden of homework.
Out of this vision came her first book, The No-Homework Women’s Bible Study: Group Hug, created initially for the small group she was leading at her church. The book was an immediate success. Participants loved the way it encouraged authentic conversation and connection while still guiding them deeper into Scripture. Encouraged by the response, Christine published the work so other groups could share in the experience.
What began as one resource soon blossomed into a bestselling series on Amazon. Over the years, The No-Homework Women’s Bible Study series has equipped countless women to grow in both their walk with the Lord and their fellowship with Christian sisters.
Building on this foundation, Christine has authored several other impactful works, including Mental Doughnuts: Overcoming Unhealthy Thoughts and its companion 38-week study guide, A Christian Devotional for Surviving Divorce, Are We the Terminal Generation?, and a Prayer Journal: Remembering God's Answers. Each book reflects her commitment to creating faith-based resources that are both practical and spiritually enriching.
Today, Christine Tate Christian Books continues to expand its reach and offerings. Christine is currently developing a lighthearted mystery party kit designed for Christian small groups—blending fun, fellowship, and faith in a fresh, creative way.
