About

Chlōq is a clean fragrance brand and self-proclaimed "everyday accomplice" helping women recognize they don't have to play the impossible game — the unspoken set of rules where women are expected to be confident but not intimidating, ambitious but not threatening, present but not too much. Unlike fragrance brands that sell aspiration or promise transformation, Chlōq positions each scent as a permission slip to remember who you already are. The brand delivers this through a proprietary trifecta of Scent, Story, and Sound — pairing every fragrance with a narrative rooted in real scenarios women face and a curated soundtrack, creating an immersive, multi-sensory experience unprecedented in the fragrance category.

All Chlōq formulations are EPA Safer Choice and Clean Sephora compliant, free of endocrine disruptors, BHT, and forever chemicals. The brand is committed to directing up to 5% of profits to grassroots women's resource organizations — not large national funds, but direct-impact groups like Mama Shu's Avalon Village in Detroit and the Blessons Foundation in Chicago, which funds trades education tuition for women. Chlōq occupies a white space no other fragrance brand has claimed: the intersection of intelligent rebellion, sensory experience, and authentic women's advocacy.

Founding Story

ChlĹŤq was born from decades of listening. Founder Alison spent 15+ years in product development across CPG, healthcare, and powersports industries, excelling professionally while quietly observing a pattern she couldn't unsee. In professional environments, in casual conversations, in the spaces between what women said and what they actually felt, the same thread kept surfacing: a deep-seated belief of not being "enough." Not smart enough, confident enough, deserving enough. She recognized it because she'd lived it, spending years playing the same impossible game, justifying choices to people who weren't living her life, and dimming herself to make others comfortable.

The turning point wasn't a single moment but a slow awakening — fueled by deep personal work, a willingness to ask hard questions, and a growing realization that traditional empowerment messaging was fixing something that was perceived to be broken, while all along nothing was broken at all. As an active motorcyclist who found an outlet in powersports, Alison saw proof that women don't need permission to take up space — they just need to stop believing they don't already belong. Chlōq became the answer to a question she'd been asking for years: what if, instead of telling women to be more confident, someone simply gave them permission to be who they already are and reawaken the parts of themselves that lead with confidence? That question became a brand, a mission, and a growing movement of women ready to quit performing and start living authentically.
