Bocado Flavor Co. was founded by husband-and-wife duo, Chef Alex Placencia and Ali Staloch. Chef Alex, often described as a bit of a culinary wizard, has worked as the corporate chef for Native Foods and consulted for beloved Chicago restaurants—always leaving a touch of magic in everything he creates. Ali has long partnered with Alex on culinary projects, with the belief that one day they’d bottle up some of their own kitchen sorcery. That vision became reality with Bocado Flavor Co., a brand they like to say was “created by an expert (Alex) and cultivated by an enthusiast (Ali). Making small batch Mexican Chili Crisp magic, one jar at a time.
