Designed as a capsule wardrobe of five modular pieces, the unisex line moves beyond gendered frameworks, prioritizing function, comfort, and real-life adaptability. Co-created with people with disabilities, the collection translates everyday dressing needs into intuitive design solutions. Rather than focusing on conditions, it is shaped around functional needs — supporting individuals with limb differences, prosthetic users, people with limited fine motor function or one-handed mobility, those using orthotic supports, and anyone who benefits from simplified dressing.

At its core is a system of magnetic closures engineered for one-handed dressing — the collection’s defining innovation — supported by convertible and modular constructions that enhance ease of wear and independence.

Developed in collaboration with GAMUT, a disability inclusion organization specializing in adaptive design standards and product evaluation, the process ensured that usability and accessibility are embedded throughout development. All BetterMe pieces have also received the GAMUT Seal of Approval™, recognizing rigorous standards of inclusive design.

Rendered in a refined charcoal palette with select styles in white, the collection maintains a restrained, modern aesthetic rooted in contemporary performance wear codes. Sensory-conscious materials, accessible openings, and convertible constructions further shape the collection’s approach to wearability, reinforcing a design system where adaptive elements are fully embedded rather than applied as separate features.

Key styles include a Convertible Magnetic Utility Shirt designed to transition between shirt and lightweight jacket through removable sleeves and a magnetic fastening system that enables one-handed dressing. The collection also features zip-off trousers that convert effortlessly between full-length and shorts, alongside modular tops constructed with adaptive openings, sensory-conscious fabrics, and flexible fits designed to support a range of daily needs.
