About
Babba is designed to make bottle preparation effortless for busy parents, whether they are traveling, feeding at night, or running errands. It combines a cooler and warmer in one portable device, eliminating the need for ice packs, insulated bags, and thermoses. With just a press of a button, Babba can prepare the milk to either a perfectly cold or warm body temperature, making nighttime feedings easier. Babba simplifies every step of feeding so parents can focus on what matters most—their baby.
Founding Story
When my wife and I became parents, we were warned how challenging it would be to bottle feed outside the house. An insulated cooler bag packed with a heavy ice pack was required so that the milk wouldn't spoil. For warming the milk, we were supposed to carry a thermos with hot water. And with my wife being a travel blogger, it wasn't an option for us to stay in the house. Fortunately, I know quite a lot about portable cooling and warming: I co-founded the tech company RecoverX which created the world's first battery powered icepack and heating pad so athletes could easily prepare and recover from their workouts. Our company was acquired in 2020 and our product is now being sold as Hyperice X (shown in the image to the left). So with a new baby on the way and a desire to start another company, the Babba team and I set out to create a better experience to enable families to easily feed their babies on the go and to enjoy more of life outside of the house. After 3 years of development, testing countless prototypes, and validating each design with potential customers, the Babba team and I are incredibly proud to share Babba with fellow parents.
