Founding Story

Asher House Wellness was born from a deeply personal experience in the life of lifelong rescuer and wellness advocate Lee Asher. When his beloved dog Lillie began suffering from severe seizures, Lee turned to CBD as a last resort—and was amazed to find that it stopped them. That moment sparked a journey of discovery and purpose. He began asking bigger questions about pet wellness: Why are so many pet products filled with fillers and additives? Why isn’t wellness for pets held to the same standard as for humans? Determined to find answers, Lee set out to create a trusted line of wellness essentials built on purity, transparency, and care.

Today, Asher House Wellness stands as a reflection of that mission—a brand designed to bring consistency and intention to both pet and human wellness. Lee Asher — Founder, Asher House Wellness


Lee Asher is the founder of Asher House Wellness, an internationally recognized animal rescue advocate, motivational speaker, and star of Animal Planet’s My Pack Life. With over 12 million followers across Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and TikTok, Lee has built one of the world’s most engaged online communities devoted to animal rescue, compassion, and wellness. His heartfelt videos documenting life with his pack of rescue dogs have inspired millions to adopt, foster, and care for animals in need—reminding audiences everywhere that kindness is a form of strength.

In 2017, Lee left his corporate job to follow a calling that spoke to his soul: rescuing animals and helping people. He set out across the country in an RV with his dogs, hosting adoption events in all 49 continental states and partnering with shelters nationwide. Along the way, Lee’s commitment to animal welfare expanded into a broader mission—promoting holistic wellness for both pets and people. That journey began when his beloved rescue dog Lillie began suffering from severe seizures. When CBD oil miraculously stopped them, Lee discovered the power of natural, consistent wellness. He founded Asher House Wellness to share that discovery with the world—creating a brand built on trust, transparency, and transformation. Gugenheim is a Golden Globe–winning, BAFTA- and Academy Award–nominated film producer and partner at Asher House Wellness, where he brings two decades of storytelling, brand strategy, and leadership experience to the company’s growth and vision. As Lee Asher’s brother and longtime collaborator, D.J. helps guide the mission and operations of Asher House Wellness, translating the brand’s values of compassion, consistency, and holistic care into powerful narratives and scalable business systems that reach millions.

Before joining Asher House Wellness, D.J. built an acclaimed career in the entertainment industry, producing films that premiered at Sundance, Cannes, Venice, and Toronto, and distributed by A24, Focus, Neon, Lionsgate, MGM, and Sony.
