Spread Some Christmas Cheer In Your Child’s Bedroom

The trick is lots of cute plushies and twinkle lights, always.

Making my kids’ bedrooms cozy is one of my favorite acts of motherhood, especially at Christmas. If you want to give your own children visions of sugarplums all season long, there are some great decor options to decorate your kids’ bedrooms for Christmas.

These felted wool trees are absolutely darling and come in three slightly different sizes for a cute Christmas tableau. And the softness of them means when your child inevitably totes them around or sleeps with them in bed, they won’t get covered in glitter or poked in the eye.

This throw blanket from PBK is the perfect mix of childhood and Christmas. Featuring everyone’s favorite reindeer, the blanket has lots of nods to the old school claymation movie of Rudolph, and is thick and warm for those cold December nights.

I’m not saying you have to change out all of your kids’ stuffies for Christmas-themed ones, but it doesn’t hurt to add a few. I love this plush gingerbread man so much, and he’ll look so sweet sitting on their beds.

I love banners and garlands, but sometimes the bright, fun ones don’t go well with my traditional Christmas decor. Enter: my kids’ room. This garland features lots of whimsical Christmas symbols, and while it’s made of paper, it looks luxurious enough to last a few seasons.

My girls have their own set of Wondershop dewdrop lights around their headboards every Christmas, and they’re the perfect amount of glow for reading stories and acting as a nightlight. There are so many cute ones from Wondershop, but these holly leaves and berries are the best.
