Made from high-quality Egyptian cotton, we were impressed with these sheets’ luxurious texture, as they felt silky smooth, soft, and comfortable. In the lab, we were surprised these sheets offered ample breathability, despite their heavier weight. While we warmed up a bit when laying underneath the sheets, we never overheated. They did a great job regulating body temperature, making them a superb option for year-round use. 

Post-wash, we noticed the sheets lost some of their shiny finish and shrank. Despite this, they still looked nice and fit well on the bed, so it wasn’t a dealbreaker for us. Additionally, we saw no other signs of wear evident after washing and drying. 

We tested the Chateau Home Collection Egyptian Cotton Sheets over six months, and we’re happy to report they’ve improved over time. With a 400 thread count, the Bamboo Bliss Resort Collection Sheet Set, may not have the highest thread count overall, but they don’t fall short in terms of construction quality and texture. In the lab, we loved how soft and smooth the sheet set felt thanks to its sateen weave. While these sheets are only available in king and queen sizes, we appreciated their snug fit and refined look, which made a stylish bedscape.

When testing the sheets’ breathability, we found they warmed us up without being overly stifling. They felt cool to the touch at first and seemed to regulate body temperature well. After staining the sheets with coffee, oil, and foundation to see how they’d hold up to everyday wear and tear, we found that the sheets mostly delivered in terms of durability.

All stains were easily removed after one cycle in the wash, but we noticed residual staining from the makeup. In general, though, their appearance and softness held up post-wash.

After six months of sleeping on the bamboo sheets at home, we’re happy with them. They’ve kept us comfortable transitioning to summer, without any overheating issues. We’ve found them to be moisture-wicking, ideal for those who tend to sleep warm. However, we noted durability issues as we continued using them, including some stubborn makeup stains and a slight change in texture. Made with 100 percent GOTS-certified organic hemp, these stylish sheets offer a slightly crinkled, lived-in look similar to linen. While this sheet style may not be everyone’s cup of tea, they’re a good choice for those trying to curate a more relaxed look.

We found these sheets to be exceptionally well made with a sturdy weight. While they feel soft and textured, note that hemp tends to be a bit more rough than traditional cotton. We were impressed with the product’s breathability, as the sheets provided ample airflow.

After following the care instructions, we found these sheets actually got softer post-wash. Additionally, all stains were completely removed with just one wash, which is a good indication of the product’s ability to withstand everyday messes. While hemp is especially prone to wrinkles compared to other materials, we think it makes for an effortlessly stylish bedscape that would match well with coastal, bohemian-style, and Mediterranean-style interiors. Made from 100 percent bamboo viscose, we found the material of these sheets to be softer than cotton and other similar fabrics. The lightweight sheets had a silky smooth finish with a slight sheen that looked especially nice on the bed. Additionally, the 1800-thread count sheets delivered in terms of wrinkle resistance, which we appreciated.

These sheets are ideal if you tend to overheat at night, as they feel cool to the touch and don’t warm much after laying underneath them. The sheets earned a perfect score in terms of breathability, meaning you won’t have to worry about the sheets feeling stifling at night. Post-wash, we observed no signs of wear and minimal shrinkage. 

After six months of consistent use, the Bampure Bamboo Sheets continue to impress. Their texture and quality remain unchanged even with multiple rounds through the wash. These sheets would be helpful for those who tend to sleep warm because of their outstanding temperature-regulating abilities. Even during a heatwave, these sheets remained breathable and comfortable all night. Although they are a great cooling pick, these sheets may not be warm or insulating enough for colder climates.

The sateen sheets are made with 100 percent cotton and have a 600 thread count, so they feel smooth and soft. While these sheets aren’t necessarily lightweight, they feel substantial and have an almost hotel-quality feel, which we enjoyed. If you love the silkiness of bamboo and the crispness of percale, these sheets offer an ideal in-between that most sleepers will love.

These sheets particularly excelled in our breathability testing. They feel cool to the touch and allow for plenty of airflow. Post-wash, these sheets improved in texture, feeling softer and more relaxed. However, when testing for durability, we noticed that our coffee and foundation stains remained post-wash. Additionally, we found that abrading the fabric with sandpaper left a hole, which may be an issue if you live with pets. Despite its imperfections, the California Design Den Sheet Set is still a value-packed option that offers comfort, temperature-regulation abilities, and style.

Although we ran into some durability concerns during our lab tests, the California Design Den Cotton Sheets shined during our two-month test of sleeping on them every night. However, we noticed that while these sheets were definitely comfortable, they weren’t as soft as some of the other sateen sheets we tried out. 

Right out of the packaging, the high thread count was apparent, as the fabric felt thick and sturdy without being overly stifling. During our lab tests, we found these sheets to be exceptionally breathable. These sheets definitely aren’t lightweight, so we were pleasantly surprised by just how much airflow they provided. Post-wash, we found no visible imperfections other than some wrinkles, so we’re confident this durable pick will last the test of time.

These high-end sheets are made from 100 percent Egyptian cotton, which feels smooth to the touch and looks clean on the bed. They’re not the softest sheets we’ve tried, but they resemble substantial hotel-style bed sheets. 

We love how cooling and breathable these sheets feel, as we had no issues overheating while lying underneath them. When testing for durability, we found that although the coffee and oil stains were completely removed, the foundation stain was not. During the abrasion test, the sheets held up nicely, with little to no signs of wear. This indicates these sheets will last quite a while, even with consistent use. Note that while these sheets are only sold in white, you can add a monogram for a personalized touch.

Overall, we’re very pleased with the performance of these sheets while using them for three months at home. After multiple washes, they still look and feel well-made, with very little change over time. While they're durable, we have noticed that these sheets are quite prone to wrinkles. If you want a neat bedscape, you may have to iron or steam them before making the bed, which can be a nuisance. However, they’ve remained very cool, comfortable, and high-quality, so we think the sheets are well worth the price tag despite the wrinkles.

While the manufacturer doesn’t specify what weave is used to make these sheets, we found them to resemble sateen sheets because of their smooth finish. Upon initial inspection, we were impressed with the overall construction quality, as the reinforced stitches, serged edges, and under-stitched hems show attention to detail. After making the bed, we found the sheets looked aesthetically pleasing, creating an elegant and refined bedscape.

In terms of breathability and temperature regulation, we found these sheets managed moisture well and didn’t cause us to overheat when lying underneath them. Post-wash, these sheets held up nicely with a slight improvement in texture and no visible imperfections despite mild wrinkles.
