Pocket Silkies (and Silkies) both started out as military training shorts. If you served in the military, you remember drilling in silkies. Sunga Life took that design and then remade silkies out of premium fabrics plus slick designs. Silkies are also known as "Ranger Panties" depending on who you ask.

Pocket silkies took the classic silkies design further by adding a compression liner with pockets on each legs. This also created the opportunity to have loud designs underneath flat colors, such as the Black with Multicam Black, which is the best-selling pocket silkies.

Many of the designs are military-inspired such as the Naked Warrior Camo collection, which was designed by a Navy SEAL to pay homage to his community's past while passing on the warrior spirit to anyone who wears it. This design features the trident hidden subtly in the camo and comes in Jungle Camo, Desert Camo, Multicam Black, and Red Camo.
